In the very first episode of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11, the Neal N Nikki actress shared her motivation for joining the show, expressing her desire to carve out her own identity rather than relying on the star status of family members like Ajay Devgn and Kajol. The actress candidly admitted to not being close to him initially but, after his demise, moved to his house and recognized his significance in her life. Reflecting on her past attitude, Tanishaa acknowledged her tendency to take her parents for granted and vowed to change her perspective.
In a recent interview, Tanishaa Mukerji disclosed that she faced a period of unemployment lasting 2-3 years following her debut film. She mentioned that her brother-in-law, Ajay Devgn, played a pivotal role in attempting to revive her career during this challenging phase. Mukerji also revealed that while filming for her debut film Sssshhh, she had slipped into coma. They were shooting for the film in Manali and while traveling there with her co-stars and directors, they met with an accident.
She was last seen in the 2021 film Code Name Abdul and is also known for her stint in Bigg Boss season 7.
